Edward is a senior from Lagos, Nigeria, majoring in Electrical Engineering with minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. He is also enrolled in the University Scholars Program and is on course to complete the Power & Energy Institute of Kentucky (PEIK) certificate alongside his undergraduate degree. Edward currently serves as one of two Senators for the National Society of Black Engineers and is an active member of the Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He has also previously been involved on campus as a Resident Advisor and a Student Leader on the International Student Leadership Team. During his undergraduate studies, Edward has engaged in research with Dr. Johne Parker and Lexmark on Radio Frequency Identification Tags (RFID) and has completed an internship with Cummins Inc. in the Electrification Power Business Unit. After earning his Bachelor’s degree, Edward plans to pursue a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at UK, with a focus on power and energy. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing soccer, basketball, music, movies and hanging out with friends.
