Rebecca Mize has joined the F. Joseph Halcomb III, M.D. Department of Biomedical Engineering as a student advisor. She will be working with undergraduate students in the new BME Bachelor of Science Degree program. In this role, Rebecca will be responsible for advising students and assisting them through the program. Rebecca will also be involved with supporting BME students in career development opportunities, etc.
Rebecca is originally from Versailles, KY but has lived in Lexington for the past few years. She received amaster's degree in student personnel services in higher education from Eastern Kentucky University in 2019. Her personal interests include her faith and relationship with Jesus, music, Jazzercise and spending time with her fiancé, friends and family. If you see Rebecca, say hello – or reach out virtually!
