The Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in materials engineering at the assistant professor level with an anticipated start date of Fall 2019.

Drs. Nokes and Balk Accept Associate Dean Positions

Sue Nokes will become the college’s first associate dean for faculty affairs and facilities and John Balk will become the next associate dean for research and graduate studies.

Pham Awarded Two National Science Foundation Grants

One will fund investigation into microscale friction and the other to better understand the mechanics of dynamic hydrogel interfaces. The awards total approximately $525,000.
