April Porter is a Recruiter for the Pigman College of Engineering, where she serves prospective students from states outside of KY. Her responsibilities include visiting high schools, attending college fairs, and hosting events on and off campus, focusing primarily on students from Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Tennessee, and Texas.
April earned her master's degree in Higher Education/Student Services from the University of Missouri - St. Louis, and she brings valuable experience from three other higher education institutions. Her dedication to student affairs and recruiting is only rivaled by her enthusiasm for helping students achieve their educational goals.
Originally from Missouri, April now calls Kentucky home with her husband and their adorable English bulldog. In her free time, April enjoys immersing herself in the energy of live concerts and exploring new destinations for exciting adventures. She also has a genuine passion for food, whether she's savoring gourmet finds at restaurants or creating new dishes in her own kitchen.
