This fall, the University of Kentucky Pigman College of Engineering welcomed 10 new faculty members.

- Jordan Garcia, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, Paducah Campus
- Michael Hovish, assistant professor in the Department of Chemical and Materials Engineering
- Peizhong Ju, assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science
- Thomas Luo, associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Shixiong Qi, assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science
- Robert Sellin, lecturer in the First-Year Engineering Program
- Lauren Shields, lecturer in the First-Year Engineering Program
- Ni Su, assistant professor of in the F. Joseph Halcomb III, M.D. Department of Biomedical Engineering.
- Jonathan Zuidema, assistant professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering
Familiar to the Pigman College of Engineering are Boyd, Garcia, Sellin and Shields.
Boyd earned his undergraduate degree from the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering in 2016. He continued to earn a Ph.D. in 2021.
Garcia earned his undergraduate degree from the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Paducah Campus in 2018. He continued on to earn his master's degree in 2019 and Ph.D. in August 2023.
Sellin earned his Bachelor of Science from the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2005.
Sheilds earned her undergraduate degree in 2017 and her Ph.D. in May 2024 from the Department of Mining Engineering.
