Jens Hannemann is Assistant Professor for Computer Engineering Technology in the Department of Engineering Technology at the University of Kentucky. He holds a Dipl.-Ing. (Master’s) Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Ruhr-Universität Bochum, Germany, and a Dr.-Ing. (PhD) Degree in Electrical Engineering from the Christian-Albrechts Universität in Kiel, Germany. His teaching and research interests include software engineering, high-performance and embedded computing, CAN and LIN bus networking, the Internet of Things, and electromagnetic and acoustic wave propagation. He is a Certified Scrum Master and a licensed amateur radio operator.
