Joe Torres is from Paris, Kentucky and is double majoring in Computer and Electrical Engineering with minors in Mathematics and Computer Science. At UK, in addition to being a Student Ambassador for the Pigman College of Engineering, Joe also serves as the Outreach Chair for UK’s Chapter of the Association of Computing Machinery, as well as a member of the Engineering Student Council. Currently, Joe works as a Technical Teachers Assistant for the MBA program at the Gatton College of Business and Economics. This past summer, Joe had the privilege to intern at Badger Technologies in Nicholasville, Kentucky as a Electrical Engineer. After graduation, Joe would like to pursue an MBA with a focus in finance and hopes to partake in one of the Education Abroad programs. In Joe’s free time, he likes to spend time with friends and family, play video games, shop for plants, and travel (in which he hopes to travel to 50 countries before he turns 50)!
