Mekha Rajesh is from Lexington, Kentucky. She is a Computer Science major and a Mathematics double major. She is an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), Alpha Lambda Delta Honors Society, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the Association for Computing Machinery-Women, the Math Club and the Engineering Student Council. She works as a UK 101 Peer Instructor as well as a Mathskeller Undergraduate Assistant, together with serving as a Peer Mentor for the Engineering LLP. Mekha is a Lessons @UK scholarship recipient and is grateful to the Pigmans for their engineering scholarship programs. She is also a trained Indian Classical dancer and has won various awards at the Global level for the same. Living in the Engineering LLP has given her a chance to explore her major with students of similar interests and has only extended reasons to get more involved in the engineering community on campus. She owes her college achievements to the resources that the Engineering LLP has to offer.
