Murilo, an international student from Brazil, is currently majoring in Mechanical Engineering with an aerospace certificate at the UK Pigman College of Engineering. He is an active member of the Brazilian Student Association on campus. Beyond academics, Murilo has a deep passion for sports, particularly handball and beach handball, which he honed over 8 years of practice in Brazil and continues to pursue through participation in numerous US tournaments. His interests extend to a wide array of skills, from crafting Italian focaccia in the kitchen to engineering projects like a Ping Pong ball launcher developed during an EGR103 class. Serving as a peer mentor holds a special place in Murilo's heart, allowing him to build connections and collaborate with a diverse range of individuals.
