Yasamin is a junior in Chemical Engineering persuing an Environmental Engineering Certificate from Lexington Kentucky. This is her second year being Peer Mentor for the Engineering LLP. Yasamin Participated in the 2023 summer REU research program at the University of Kentucky. Her research revolved aroundn the Synthesis of Silica Nanoparticles and Transport of Particles Across Membranes. Outside of school she works at grassroots pharmacy and loves to play volleyball and go on hikes with her fanmily and friends.
