Dr. Steven Schafrik joined the Department of Mining Engineering in August 2017. Dr. Schafrik received BS, MS and PhD degrees from the Department of Mining and Minerals Engineering at Virginia Tech. He is an expert in Mining Systems and Computer Applications for the Mining Industry.
