The  BME  Department has over sixty years of history in biomedical research excellence and is the only named department in the College of Engineering, thanks to a generous gift from our benefactor, a former UK  BME  program trainee. For candidates who desire to advance their career through true integration of engineering and medicine with clinical relevance, UK provides the right environment for them.
