Jiangbiao He, assistant professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, has been named by the IEEE Industry Applications Society (IAS) as the recipient of the 2019 AWS Outstanding Young Member Achievement Award. Every year, one IEEE IAS member under the age of 35 is selected from the international professional community to receive the award.
Dr. He was also recently awarded a Research Initiation Grant Agreement from the Southeastern Center for Electrical Engineering Education (SCEEE) for his project titled “Research on Ultra-Fast Resonant DC Circuit Breaker.”
Dr. He joined the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty in January.
