Mollakazemi and Team Win 2020 University of Kentucky Global Health Case Competition.

The team's project addressed Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) in China’s Guangdong Province. 

University of Kentucky Biomedical engineering graduate student Javad Mollakazemi and a multidisciplinary team recently won the 2020 University of Kentucky Global Health Case Competition. The project addressed Electronic Nicotine Delivery Systems (ENDS) in China’s Guangdong Province. The teams were asked to act as a multidisciplinary panel of experts to review the economic, health, and social impacts of ENDS and devise a strategy on how to address ENDS in Guangdong’s Healthy China 2030 Provincial plan. The team received a monetary award of $500 and will advance to the national competition next month.
