Research Description

Yitin (Ed) Wang’s research focuses on biodegradation and biotransformation of environmental pollutants.  He and his graduate students have investigated the removal efficiencies of various bioreactors systems in the laboratory for a range of organic and inorganic contaminants.  The performance of these processes is mathematically modeled using biokinetics, molecular diffusion, and mass transfer as well as reactor configuration.
