The 2023 Civil Engineering Awards Banquet, which took place on September 16, 2023 at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Lexington/UK Coldstream, recognizes outstanding alumni and industry leaders in the civil and construction engineering industry.
Each year, the Department of Civil Engineering recognizes individuals for the Young Construction Engineer of the Year award, the Young Civil Engineer of the Year, the Construction Management Founders Society Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Career Achievement Award.
These individuals are chosen by a selection committee made up from our Civil Engineering Industry Advisory Committee and our Construction Industry Advisory Committee. The recipients represent civil and construction engineering excellence across the region. This year the recipients were:
