In fall 2018, the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering launched a new Undergraduate Research Fellowship program. Here are the projects and partnerships that emerged from those fellowships.
The CAREER Award is one of the “most prestigious awards in support of the early career-development activities of those teacher-scholars who most effectively integrate research and education within the context of the mission of their organization,” according to NSF.
Mike Johnson, professor and chair in the University of Kentucky Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, led the team, which worked on the project over the summer.
