The mission of Marketing and Communications is to clarify and communicate the qualities of the College of Engineering that will attract and retain high quality students, inspire external stakeholders to partner and invest in the college and create a sense of connection and loyalty among our current students, faculty and staff.
The Marketing and Communications team plans, directs, and manages the College’s overall communications and marketing effort. All college level publications such as Kentucky Engineering Journal, the magazine for alumni and friends of the College, annual reports, informational brochures and other printed material is produced by marketing and communications personnel in the Office of Advancement. The group also oversees the production and editing of the College’s web pages.
Marketing and Communications is also charged with managing public relations and marketing activities for the College. As such, it is the liaison with UK Public Relations and with representatives of the print and electronic media for publicizing achievements of the faculty, staff, and students, events and other College of Engineering programs and initiatives.
