Jessica is a junior majoring in mining engineering and is from Lexington, Kentucky. She currently serves as the outreach chair for the Society for Mining, Metallurgy, and Exploration and as the vice president for the Women in Mining organization. She is also a member of the International Society of Explosive Engineers and the College of Engineering Alumni Mentorship Program. Off-campus, she's held summer internships in the aggregate industry and also enjoys cooking, baking and photography.
