Aquanuity, Inc., a leading innovator in geocentric water infrastructure digital twin software, announced the creation of an endowed professorship in the University of Kentucky Pigman College of Engineering Department of Civil Engineering to honor Chairman and CEO Paul F. Boulos, Ph.D.
The Paul F. Boulos Professorship in Civil Engineering aims to support exceptional faculty, drive groundbreaking research and prepare the next generation of engineers to lead resilient infrastructure development worldwide.

L. Sebastian Bryson, Hardin-Drnevich-Huang Professor of Civil Engineering and department chair, discussed the impact of the endowment on the department.

Paul F. Boulos graduated from the University of Kentucky with his bachelor of science in 1985, master of science in 1986 and doctorl degree in 1989, all in civil engineering. He has held several senior executive leadership roles in multimillion and multi-billion-dollar companies including MWH Global (president and executive director), Stantec (president), Innovyze (founder, chairman and CEO) and Digital Water Works (founder, CEO and executive director). He was recognized with the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) OP AL Leadership Award in Management, the Environmental and Water Resources Institute Lifetime Achievement Award, the ASCE John I. Parcel-Leif J. Sverdrup Civil Engineering Management Award, the ASCE Simon W. Freese Environmental Engineering Award, the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists Edward J. Cleary Award; was elected to the grade of Distinguished Member of ASCE {the highest honor bestowed by ASCE); and was the recipient of the U.S. Ellis Island Medal of Honor. Boulos has authored ten authoritative textbooks and more than 200 technical papers on issues critical to the water and wastewater industry.
