Isaac Madill, 2026 mining engineering graduate from the University of Kentucky Stanley and Karen Pigman College of Engineering, was named a 2026 recipient of the Maurice A. Clay Award by UK’s Nu Circle of Omicron Delta Kappa.

The Maurice A. Clay Award recognizes one outstanding graduating senior from each academic college at the University of Kentucky. Recipients are selected by college leadership based on leadership, scholastic achievement, conspicuous attainment and service to the college.

The award is named in honor of Maurice A. Clay, who was an educator and professor at UK for more than 60 years. Clay was the epitome of service leadership, while assuming little recognition for himself.
