Pitch Guidelines:

  1. Requests should be to benefit the group, such as large networking events, conferences, job fairs, or other career-service /recruitment related events.
  2. If you are asking for more than a few hundred dollars, consider showing your budget details so that Wildcats could fund a portion of your initiative. Wildcats may be interested in investing smaller amounts in multiple organizations.
  3. Be sure to include what the sponsor gets out of funding your group, such as recognition during the sponsored event, access to your organization members, etc.
  4. Practice your pitch with your advisor in advance to refine your presentation.
  5. You only have a few minutes – keep your pitch short and concise!
