Bryan Gibson serves as the Program Manager of KTC’s Economics, Finance, and Multimodal Transportation Group, and he has been with the Center since 2011. His expertise in transportation research includes finance, economics, and policy; with a focus on issues such as funding, performance measures, and financial data analysis. Dr. Gibson has served as principal investigator and assisted on a number of transportation projects funded by the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, the Southeastern Transportation Consortium, Federal Highways Administration, and the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Office of the Assistant Secretary for Research and Technology. Dr. Gibson has published articles in Public Works Management and Policy; Applied Spatial Analysis and Policy; and the Journal of Public Budgeting, Accounting, and Financial Management. He is also a member of the Transportation Research Board’s Standing Committee on Revenue and Finance and Subcommittee on Research. Dr. Gibson holds a PhD in Public Policy and Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Policy from the Martin School of Public Policy and Administration at the University of Kentucky. He also holds a BS in Economics and Finance as well as an MS in Economics from Auburn University.
