Carol Sampson retired from Toyota after a 26-year career as an executive where she led the North American employee relations, security, internal communications, labor, and supplier support function. She successfully implemented lean Human Resources programs that ensured stable and positive employee relations at Toyota’s North American manufacturing facilities.

Her experience included working with experts in the Toyota Production System, and she shares her Toyota knowledge and experience to counsel automotive suppliers and other Fortune 500 companies.

Carol has over 30 years of practical work experience at three automotive manufacturers: General Motors, Ford, and Toyota. At General Motors and Ford, Carol led a team of hourly, bargaining unit employees as a front-line supervisor. This experience served as the basis for many of the programs she developed later in her career.

She has a Master’s Degree in Industrial Relations, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Alabama where she graduated magna cum laude.
