Lauren is from Winchester, Kentucky, and she is majoring in Aerospace Engineering and minoring in Mathematics. Additionally, she is a part of the Lewis Honors College as an Otis A. Singletary Scholar. Alongside being a College of Engineering ambassador, Lauren is a prototyping guide at the Innovation Center, a member of the Society of Women Engineers, a member of SpaceLex, and involved in campus ministry. In the summer of 2025, she completed an internship at Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control where she gained valuable experience in design engineering on fixed-wing platforms, which grew her passion for the aerospace industry. After graduating, Lauren hopes to pursue a career in the defense or space sectors. In her free time, she loves to cook, bake, go on walks outside, try new restaurants, and spend quality time with her friends and family.
