McKenzie is a senior in biomedical engineering with a mathematics minor from Corbin, KY. She is a Pigman Scholar and a member of the Lewis Honors College on the Scholars in Engineering and Management (SEAM) pathway. On top of being a peer mentor, she is a Women in Engineering (WiE) Wing Coordinator for the ELLP. Outside of the LLP, she is an active member of the Biomedical Engineering Society, Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and she is the secretary for the Tau Beta Pi engineering honor society. In her free time, McKenzie enjoys listening to music, reading, crocheting, and knitting. She says that being in the ELLP has afforded her the opportunity of being part of a community filled with countless engineering students and faculty who create an awesome support system!
