Patrick Robinson is a native of Union County, Kentucky.  He has been the associate director of advancement for the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) and worked there in a variety of resource development roles over the last 15 years.  He has been a part of two comprehensive campaigns during his tenure.  Prior to joining KCTCS in July of 2003, Patrick began his career in philanthropy in 2000 as a student worker at the University of Kentucky in both the Sturgill Philanthropy Building and the College of Engineering Advancement Office.   He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural education, communications, and leadership from the University of Kentucky in 2001 and a Master of Science degree in vocational education from UK in 2003.  He has also completed doctoral coursework at UK. 

A resident of Lexington, Patrick currently serves on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Fayette County 4-H Council and For Those Who Would, Inc., a non-profit dedicated to support individuals prevented from participating in athletic activities due to debilitating injuries or diseases.  He also volunteers with other community initiatives and has chaired several boards.   Patrick was honored in 2012 as a Lexington Young Professionals Association (LYPA) Rising Star.  He is currently pursuing a Certified Fundraising Executive Certification (CFRE).  In his spare time, Patrick enjoys volunteering, traveling, following a variety of sports, and cheering on our CATS.
