Philip Lee is an Associate Professor in Computer Engineering Technology in the University of Kentucky Fujio Cho Department of Engineering Technology and Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Joint Appointment). He also serves as the Director of Undergraduate Studies for the Computer Engineering Technology degree and has been appointed a Toyota Computer Engineering Technology Professor. He is a Faculty Liaison in the Center for Nanoscale Science and Engineering (Class 100 cleanroom).  

Philip has a Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a master’s degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Korea University in Seoul Korea. 

Before this role, Philip was an assistant professor at Indiana State University and Morehead State University. 

Philip’s industry experience includes working as a lead device engineer in the Device Physicist Advanced Research Center for First Solar, Inc., and a staff device/integration engineer for SanDisk Corp.
