Engineering For All is a special event hosted by the Pigman College of Engineering designed for future engineers and their families to connect with student organizations such as the National Society of Black Engineers, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, Society of Women Engineers, and other groups to get answers to all your questions about engineering courses, internships, co-ops and campus resources, and more.
The Engineering Open House is an all-day event where you and your guests will interact with engineering professors and current students who will guide you in exploring engineering majors, co-ops and internships, scholarships and more. You will also tour engineering facilities and our residential community to experience what it’s like to be a UK Engineering student.
During the Evening with Engineering Reception in Bowling Green, you’ll meet UK Engineering Recruiter Sara Soard as well as local engineering alumni to learn more the Pigman College of Engineering. You'll have your questions answered about the engineering program, admission requirements, co-ops, scholarship opportunities and more.
During the daylong Engineering Open House, you and your guests will get an in-depth look at the Pigman College of Engineering. You'll learn about the engineering admissions process, scholarships, co-ops and internships, housing, and more. You'll also see state-of-the-art teaching and research facilities, the engineering residence hall, meet faculty and current students, and tour through the engineering complex as you explore the engineering programs we offer. The Engineering Open House is held once a semester on a Saturday.
Engineering Information Sessions are one-hour meetings with a UK Engineering Recruiter to learn about our engineering program, scholarships, co-ops and internships, housing, and more. You’ll also tour the engineering facilities.
In addition to coming to campus for an engineering visit, we encourage seeing the rest of our beautiful campus as well. The UK Visitor Center offers general information sessions and campus tours Monday through Friday (and select Saturdays) all year long.

The Pigman College of Engineering Ambassador Program consists of a highly select group of engineering students dedicated to the promotion of the College of Engineering and the University of Kentucky. Ambassadors work recruitment events, answer prospective student questions and highlight the amazing opportunities available at UK and in the engineering program. Engineering Ambassadors also support the college with various activities such as Engineers Day, orientation, alumni functions and other special events.
