The Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering offers programs of study leading to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees. Approximately 130 graduate students work with award-winning faculty on a wide range of research topics including manufacturing, smart materials, acoustics, autonomous systems, robotics and controls, biomechanics and biomaterials, experimental and computational fluid mechanics, hypersonics, aeroacoustics, combustion, and aerospace manufacturing and materials, among others.
