In March, 22 electrical and computer engineering students from the UK Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) student branch traveled to Charlotte, North Carolina, for IEEE SoutheastCon 2025.
For three days, students participated in various competitions against teams from over 40 universities from the Southeast region placing:
Several students also presented posters or presented their research in talks. Students competed also in the main hardware competition, main circuit competition, software competition, ethics competition and all students participated in the networking competition, which gave them feedback on their resumes and elevator pitches.
