Stamatiadis Receives Fulbright Award

Nikiforos Stamatiadis, the Raymond-Blythe Professor in the University of Kentucky Department of Civil Engineering, has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Scholar grant to teach and conduct research on transportation engineering, with a focus on highway design and safety, at the University of Catania in Catania, Italy.

Taylor Wins Lutes Award

At the annual Tau Beta Pi Awards Banquet held April 19, Civil engineering associate professor Tim Taylor was named the 2016 winner of the Henry Mason Lutes for Excellence in Engineering Education Award.

Ormsbee Wins ASCE Water Resources Award

Raymond-Blythe Professor of Civil Engineering and Director of the Kentucky Water Resources Research Institute Lindell Ormsbee has been selected by the Environmental and Water Resources Institute to receive the 2016 Julian Hinds Award. The honor recognizes significant achievements that advance engineering in the field of planning, development and management of water resources.
