I develop Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) curriculum and host educational workshops and events for youth. My background is in agricultural education (vocational agriculture production – grades 8-12 – and generalist – grades 4-8 - teaching certification) and Extension as a former 4-H and Youth Development Agent and State Specialist. I have 14+ years of experience working in the realms of formal, nonformal and informal education. I am a member of the Kentucky Girls STEM Collaborative Leadership Team. My work focuses on providing educational materials with a STEM and biotechnology focus for high school agricultural education teachers, through a Louisiana and Kentucky collaborative National Science Foundation EPSCoR II, R-2 Project.
